outside my building

yellow eyes behind bushes

sleeping cat

her calm

before the storm

window candlelight

snowflake illumination

on glass

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
under the chandeliers
words turn
to crystal
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

tears hide behind smiles

a parched landscape

waits for rain

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
snow angels
turn gray
urban grief
a woman fans herself
in the courtyard
a squirrel goes nuts
over fallen acorns
Hence, whenever there is a holiday conflict, the reading will be held on the third Saturday instead. Due to back-to-back religious holidays in September 2020, there will be no regular reading that month. Since there will be no regular September reading, we will have one on July 18 (not to conflict with the NY Poetry Festival). We will continue not to have a regular reading in December. We will keep you posted on the anthology readings for 2020.
