Patricia Carragon’s recent publications include Bear Creek Haiku, First Literary Review-East, A Gathering of the Tribes, Jerry Jazz Musician, The Café Review, Muddy River Poetry Review, Krytyka Literacka, Poetrybay, and Sensitive Skin. Her latest books, The Cupcake Chronicles (Poets Wear Prada, 2017) and Innocence (Finishing Line Press, 2017), are available on Amazon.com. Patricia hosts the Brooklyn-based Brownstone Poets and is the editor-in-chief of its annual anthology. She is an executive editor for Home Planet News Online. Patricia has completed her second novel, What Hasn’t Happened Yet. Her first novel, Angel Fire is currently seeking publication.
Kathryn Fazio is an internationally published poet and fine artist. She served as Poet Laureate of the College of Staten Island, C.U.N.Y. and was a representative of the United States during the Fifth World Congress of Poets ,where she received the Silla Gold Crown World Peace Literature Prize from Korea. Her poem, War, was translated into French and televised in Haiti by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce Business/Education Committee. Often video-taped for educational purposes at universities and fundraises, Kathryn raised funds during a FUSE event for the aftermath of hurricane Katrina and recited on the Brooklyn Waterfront for Creative Arts Therapy Outreach Day. She is the author of, “A Taste of Hybrid Vigor: new poems of War, Passion, and Social Significance”, which includes pictures of her original oil paintings, and Kathryn is a long standing Bowery Woman , published in the Bowery Woman Anthology and one of the first member poets of Brevitis, invited by Bob Holman and Steve Zeilton during the groups formation. Kathryn dabbles in tap dancing to bring entertainment to Veterans of War, Junior High Schools, and Recreation centers. Funded by Poets and Writers, Ms Fazio edited a collection of poems, “Our World in an Onion”, for residents of a Treatment Program who were coping with the societal stigma and the medical challenges of A.I.D.S. in order to encourage their voices and is currently working to develop a program using the creative arts for positive outcomes in Healthcare.
Ron Kolm is an editor of the Unbearables anthology, From Somewhere To Nowhere: The End of the American Dream. He is a contributing editor of Sensitive Skin magazine. Ron is the author of Divine Comedy, Suburban Ambush, Duke & Jill, Night Shift, A Change in the Weather and Welcome to the Barbecue. He’s had work in Great Weather for Media, Maintenant, Live Mag!, Local Knowledge and the Outlaw Bible of American Poetry. Ron’s papers were purchased by the New York University library.
