231 Norman Avenue #114, Brooklyn, New York 11222
$7.50 Admission

A poetry reading and meet-and-greet in Brooklyn featuring 15 NYC-based writers against the War on Drugs and its destructive effects on our bodies, our minds and our communities, and honoring Voices Of Community Activists & Leaders (VOCAL-NY), a wonderful grassroots organization committed to empower and help people affected by HIV/AIDS, the drug war and mass incarceration with advocacy and direct services, including needle exchange services and counseling.

Proceeds from ticket sales all go to VOCAL-NY. Get your tickets NOW here at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/verses-against-drug-war-reading-for-vocal-and-harm-reduction-tickets-32398364380 before they are out. If space permits, tickets will also be sold at the door.

Before, between and after sets we would encourage all to meet, talk, engage, and facilitate collaboration with VOCAL staff, the poets, and all others involved. It is our intention to use this event as a vehicle for greater things to come that would unite passionate people towards a common goal.

Plus, food and drinks will be available.
