Davidson Garrett trained for the theatre at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and graduated from The City College of New York. He is the author of the poetry and prose collection, King Lear of the Taxi and two chapbooks, To Tell the Truth I Wanted to be Kitty Carlisle and Other Poems, and Southern Low Protestant Departure. In June 2014, he was awarded 1st Place in Juanita Torrence-Thompson International Poetry Contest sponsored by Amulet Poetry Magazine. His spoken word play, Conspiracy Theory: The Mysterious Death of Dorothy Kilgallen, was published in 2015 by the performance arts journal Nerve Lantern.

George Held publishes regularly both online and in print, in such journals as Confrontation, Notre Dame Review, String Poet, and Xanadu. His work has been included in three dozen anthologies and has received 8 Pushcart Prize nominations, and Garrison Keillor read one of George’s poems on A Writer’s Almanac. His recent books include Neighbors 3: The Water Critters (2015), animal poems for children, illustrated by Joung Un Kim, and Culling: New & Selected Nature Poems (2014), which Kirkus Reviews calls “strong . . . a closely observed collection on nature and environmentalism.”

 

Claudia Serea

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Claudia Serea is a Romanian-born poet who immigrated to the U.S. in 1995. Her poems and translations have appeared in New Letters, 5 a.m., Meridian, Word Riot, Apple Valley Review, and many others. A four-time Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net nominee, she is the author of Angels & Beasts (Phoenicia Publishing, Canada, 2012), The System (Cold Hub Press, New Zealand, 2012), A Dirt Road Hangs From the Sky (8th Publishing, Canada, 2013), To Part Is to Die a Little (Cervena Barva Press, forthcoming), and Nothing Important Happened Today (Boradstone Books, forthcoming). Serea co-hosts The Williams Readings poetry series in Rutherford, NJ, and is the co-founder and translations editor of The National Translation Month. More at cserea.tumblr.co.
